Note: USB Redirection is currently not functional on macOS 11 Big Sur. We will update this article once we've established a long-term solution.
USB Redirection is a feature that allows you to pass a connected USB device along to your Paperspace machine.
This feature is fully supported in the native app for Mac and PC users. Linux support is forthcoming.
To enable USB Redirection, open your Paperspace app and launch your virtual machine.
Click the Paperspace menu (in the upper right corner), and then select USB Forwarding -> Enable.
That's it! Certain devices will require you install drivers on both the local machine and the Paperspace machine.
